FlexPerks Visa - Signing Up to Redeem Points

If you had the old U.S. Bank WorldPerks Visa and are also a member of the Delta SkyMiles program, please read the Delta & NWA Merger article first.

Redeeming Your U.S. Bank Visa FlexPoints

You can redeem your U.S. Bank FlexPerks Travel Rewards FlexPoints in two ways: by telephone (888-229-8864) or online. HOWEVER, to view and redeem points online, you must sign up for Internet banking with U.S. Bank! Do not panic. You do not have to open a checking or savings account with U.S. Bank.

If you haven't registered to receive the bonus points offered with your card, you are asked to sign up for Internet Banking right after you register. If the offer has not yet expired, go to the next section. Have your FlexPerks Visa card with you at your computer.

If you've already registered, or the offer has expired, then go to www.usbank.com to register for Internet Banking. Open the website in a separate browser window by right-clicking on the URL. Then skip below to "Enrolling in U.S. Bank Internet Banking." Have your FlexPerks Visa card with you at your computer.

Registering for the Bonus FlexPoints

  1. Go to flexperks.com/freeflight10 or flexperks.com/freeflight15 … whichever link was specified in the materials you received from U.S. Bank. Open the website in a separate browser window by right-clicking on the URL.
  2. In the Welcome to FlexPerks Visa window, enter an email address. Write down the email address you entered as you will need it later!
  3. In the Confirm Your Registration window, enter the required information, and enter the promo code that came with your card. Don't forget to check the box "I am 18 years of age or older." When finished, click Register.
  4. The next window says "Thank You" and asks you to enroll in U.S. Bank Internet banking. Click Continue.

Enrolling in U.S. Bank Internet Banking

  1. From the U.S. Bank homepage, click Enroll in Internet Banking below the login on the right side of the page. On the Enroll in Internet Banking window, choose your account type, view the Terms and Conditions (required), and click Enroll Now.
  2. On the next page, click the radio button next to "I do not have a U.S. Bank checking or savings account."
  3. Then click the radio button next to "I have a U.S. Bank Credit Card, Premier Line or CreditLine" and click Continue.
  4. On the next window, enter your FlexPerks Visa account number. Then, click the radio button next to "Signature Panel Code" and type the 3-digit number from the back of your Visa card on the right side of the signature area. Also type the card expiration date, and your billing zip code. Then, enter the last 4 digits of your social security number. Click Submit.
  5. Have pen and paper handy for the next step. You are now on the Create Personal ID and Password window. Enter a Personal ID (Login ID) of your choice, a password, and the email address you used earlier. Write these items down! Click Continue.
  6. On the next window you must answer three (3) Shield Questions. Click show more questions to display all of the available questions. Click a question and type your answer in the empty box that opens. After answering 3 questions, check "Always ask me to answer an ID Shield Question when I login." Click Continue.
  7. For additional security, choose a Shield Image or Sound. Use the dropdown menu to select a category, then choose an image or sound you'll remember. Then type a short phrase. Click Continue. (When you login to U.S. Bank Internet banking, the image or sound you selected will display before entering your password.)
  8. The next window confirms your choices. Click Submit.
  9. The next window gives you the option of signing up for online statements. Under Eligible Accounts, there is a box with a checkmark in it by "Credit Card." If you DON'T want online statements, remove the checkmark in the box by clicking in the box. Then click Continue.
  10. The next window references Internet Bill Pay and is not relevant, so click Continue.
  11. The last window says Enrollment Finish. At this you need to completely exit the U.S. Bank website and then go back in and test your logon. So click Home in your browser window or cancel out of the browser window completely.

Logging into U.S. Bank Internet Banking

  1. Click on the link to www.usbank.com. Open the website in a separate browser window by right-clicking on the URL. Bookmark the webpage for future reference. Then enter your Personal ID in the space provided on the right side of the webpage, and click Login.
  2. Answer the ID Shield question that is presented to you, and click Enter.
  3. You should now see the ID Shield Image or Sound you chose. If so, enter your password.
  4. You are now on the Your Accounts window. If you click View to see how many points you have, U.S. Bank will inform you that you are being sent to another website.
  5. From the Your Accounts window, you can quickly change your contact information, security settings, and email information by clicking YOUR PROFILE at the top of the window.
  6. To redeem FlexPoints, click REWARDS CENTER on the left navigation menu.
  7. Don't forget to click Log Out when you are finished!
